FAPC Member Launches Healthy Lentil Dips

One company is putting “health” back into the hearth at this year’s South Beach Food & Wine Festival. Davie-based, Healthy Exotic Foods is launching a new line of high protein, gourmet dips called Lotus 9 featuring a Spicy Cilantro Lentil Dip and Kalamata Olive Lentil Dip. Lotus 9 will premiere the new flavors at Jungle Island on Feb 21 – 22nd in conjunction with the South Beach Food & Wine Festival’s Fun and Fit as a Family Event featuring Rachael Ray and Jamie Oliver.
From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., customers can visit Healthy Exotic Foods’ African Safari themed booth at Food Destination for unlimited sampling and a chance to purchase 8oz. containers of the creamy, dreamy spreads before they hit supermarket shelves. Each lentil-based dip retails for $5 and customers, who purchase two or more packages, can take advantage of free delivery in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.
