How to create the “Fresh from Florida” excitement?

I’m Marisol, one of the staff members of the Division of Marketing. As coordinator of the Department’s Hispanic Campaign one of the main challenges I face is how to educate Florida’s Hispanic population about the great role our agriculture industry plays in our State. How do I tell them we’re more than Disney and beaches? How do I talk about Florida’s main agricultural industries, about the Fresh from Florida branding and how these influence our lifestyles in a healthy way – in 3:00 minutes- and get them interested?When I sat down with the producers this is what I said: “ I want to talk about agriculture, fruits, vegetables, horses, cattle, seafood, mention some of our top 13 commodities, say how we export all over the world, mention the “Fresh from Florida” logo (etc. etc.)… in a fun, exciting way in English and Spanish!”
After this, I was wondering all the time if they could really recreate all the enthusiasm and pride I feel about our industry to share it with others.
