Established in 1911 on the shores of Lake Okeechobee, Erickson Farm is run by third and fourth generation Erickson family members.
Krista Erickson, Kim Erickson and Rich Johnston were on hand at the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival to showcase their beautiful products. They had mangos, eggplants, peppers and delicious tropicals like papayas and star fruit.

Kim Erickson, Rich Johnston and Krista Erickson show off their tropical specialties
Krista and Kim are the fourth generation of Ericksons to work on the farm. Their father, Dale, has been on the farm since his childhood and is the namesake for the Mr. Dale line of tropical specialties. When Rich married Kim, he also became part of the rich heritage that this family brings to not only south Florida, but Florida agriculture.
In addition to fruits and vegetables, Erickson Farm sells trees and exotic leaves. They take great care to ensure that the products leaving the farm are of the highest quality.
If you live in or plan to visit Canal Point, consider stopping by Erickson Farm to get some fruits and vegetables or some trees. For information about what is in season and farm hours, call the Ericksons at 561-924-7714.
