The Fresh from Florida Kids website has a new, updated look. All of the helpful information you have come to reply on in the past is still there along with a couple of new sections.
We’ve added “Ask the Professionals” so parents can communicate with our culinary experts on how to make meals healthier and tastier for kids. “Post your Comment” and “Share Your Recipe” sections have been added so families can be more interactive with the program. The most entertaining addition is the “Contest” addition. Each month we have a 15 day contest for our web viewers. That’s all I am going to say about the contest. You need to go to the website and check it out!
Fresh from Florida Kids was developed because of the concern about childhood obesity. The “Fresh from Florida Kids” team has spent hours researching nutrition, consulting a nutritionist, developing recipes that do not hide fruits and vegetables in the food, and talking to moms to make this program and website user friendly. As parents, you know that advice on how to feed your child will fill volumes and the number of websites would probably reach infinity. We want you to go to the website, use our information as you begin to feed your baby solid food and then continue with our healthy family recipes. Share your healthy recipes and thoughts with us. We look forward to hearing from you.
