Florida Strawberry Festival Going Strong

If you haven’t had a chance to make it to Plant City for the 2010 Florida Strawberry Festival, there’s still time.  The 75th Festival is in full swing; the last day to visit is Sunday, March 14.

There are concerts, craft and cooking competitions, rides and other events to enjoy.  However, the headliner is the strawberry.  From my trips to the Festival, I remember strawberry shortcakes as far as the eye could see!  I also remember coming home with a flat of strawberries.  A great way to use them is by making Chef Justin’s delicious Florida Strawberry Panini.  Mmm…

The Festival is located in Plant City off I-4 Exit 19.  For more information, check out www.flstrawberryfestival.com or contact the Festival office at 813-752-9194.
