Miami International Agriculture Horse & Cattle Show

This month, Miami is hosting the Miami International Agriculture Horse & Cattle Show, which will take place on Friday, April 13th through Sunday, April 15th. This will be its fifth annual show since it started in 2008. The admission is free, and it is a great event for the family to experience.
The annual show typically draws over 60,000 visitors to the three-day event, with representatives from over 24 countries including Russia, Argentina, Brazil, Panama, and Guatemala. Cattle breeders from over 18 states including Florida, Georgia, Texas, Arizona, Arkansas, and Missouri have exhibited over a dozen breeds of cattle at the show.
There will be judging of pure cattle breeds such as: Brahman, Brangus, Red Brangus, Santa Gertrudis, and Angus. There will also be an international equine auction featuring all different types of saddle bred horses ranging from Paso Finos, Andalusians, and American Quarter Horses .
“The Medieval Times” will be performing at the show, which usually includes a tournament and dinner. The Magic City Sale will also be taking place and is considered the most successful international live auction for cattle genetics in the United States. Attendees can also visit different cultural events like the Andalusian & Paso Fino Horseshow, which shows Spanish purebred horses performing dances and Paso Finos demonstrating their natural gait. All proceeds from the show will benefit the education and therapy for children with autism at the South Florida Autism Charter School.
