“Fresh From Florida” Weekend at Epcot – Ecoturf Sod

Returning for the fourth time to participate in “Fresh From Florida” Weekend at the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival, Ecoturf Sod is a commercial producer of Ecoturf perennial peanut.

A beautiful field of Ecoturf sod.

Perennial peanut is a beautiful groundcover. Ecoturf is drought-tolerant and slow growing. These characteristics mean less watering and less mowing! As it grows, small yellow flowers bloom, creating a pretty landscape.

Owners William and Jenny Lloyd have farmed in the North Florida community of McAlpin for more than 20 years. Their experience in producing perennial peanut is passed on to their customers, and they believe in giving their customers the knowledge to care for their sod.

Drought resistant and slow growing sound fine but what are you saying about mowing? I’ve only mowed grass before. Do you mow groundcovers?
