Independence Day Grilling

For the past few weeks, I’ve been addicted to grilling. Whether its prime cuts of meat or just burgers and hot dogs, I personally think that grilling seals in juices and brings out the best flavors in food. So naturally I am planning to do dinner on the grill for this July 4th holiday.
I will be grilling some awesome Rib-eye steaks with only salt and pepper for seasoning, and add some corn on the cob. While I’m at it, I just might slice up some red potatoes, toss them with some garlic-olive oil and throw them onto the grill as well. To finish it off, I’m thinking bout searing some pineapple slices on the grill.
And here’s another tip: toss some Kaiser buns on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side. The high heat will make the outside extra crispy while leaving the middle warm and soft. You can then cut them in half and add butter, or do it before placing them on the grill. This is something I personally like to do every time I grill.
So here’s to hoping that everyone out there enjoys Independence Day in their own special way. I’ll be sure to report back after the holiday and tell you how all the food came out.
