“Fresh From Florida” Weekend at Epcot: Florida Strawberry Growers Association

The Florida Strawberry Growers Association was a third-time exhibitor at “Fresh From Florida” Weekend during this year’s International Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot. People loved learning more about Florida strawberries and getting recipes.
The colorful FSGA display draws people in to learn more about strawberries and get recipes.
The FSGA is a member-supported organization, with funding coming from strawberry producers. Through the
money collected, the association is able to develop creative marketing promotions and educational campaigns revolving around the delicious red fruit.
Florida strawberries can be harvested commercially as early as October, and can run until June, although peak times are December through April. However, the Association stays busy year-round! For more information about the FSGA, check out http://flastrawberry.com.
