The Division runs many programs that service Florida’s children – from the National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs to the Summer Food Service Program that feeds children for free during the summer. We also run many other programs including the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program, Farm to School efforts and School Gardens. Our Division also handles the regulatory side of the programs – from the auditing to the reimbursement of the programs to the schools.
Because we are such a diverse Division we needed a website that could reach all of our audiences in one place. We reach Sponsors (our districts, schools, etc), School Teachers and Administrators, Parents and Students. We have a wealth of information that is available and changes out frequently. Our new website FreshforFloridaKids.com was created for this purpose. Here you can find all of that information. The web site is constantly changing and being updated to better serve our users. Check back often for new updates!
