It’s that time of year again! Seafood festival season is in full gear. The weekend of October 20-21 marks the 43rd annual Cedar Key Seafood Festival. The Cedar Key Lions Club has organized a fabulous festival complete with fine seafood, entertainment, shopping and family fun.
Cedar Key is a quiet island community nestled among many tiny keys on the Gulf Coast of Florida. Long admired for its natural beauty and abundant supply of seafood, it is a tranquil village, rich with the almost forgotten history of old Florida. The Cedar Key Chamber of Commerce calls Cedar Key an island where time stands still, with rich Gulf waters reflecting blue skies. Cedar Key is certainly a place where you can enjoy the unique qualities of a quaint coastal environment.
If you are in the area, be sure to check out the festival, it is sure to be a great time. You can find out more information about this and many other festivals in Florida by visiting our website: http://www.florida-agriculture.com/consumers/recreation/seafoodfest/
