Let’s Talk Turkey Tips

Next week is Thanksgiving! This year has flown by quickly, and it’s hard to believe that the fourth Thursday in November is so close.
Since the holiday is approaching, we thought it would be helpful to post some turkey tips from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and the USDA. These websites provide information about thawing, roasting, stuffing, storing, and handling turkeys.
In addition to turkey tips, the USDA has a Meat and Poultry Hotline (1-800-MPHotline) that addresses food safety issues.
No matter how you prepare your turkey (or chicken, or pizza, or whatever foods you love), we hope that you enjoy your Thanksgiving.
