Saucy Twist on Florida Sweet Corn

Florida sweet corn can be prepared in a number of ways; it can be grilled, boiled, steamed, broiled, and fried. Its versatility and great flavor allows it to be incorporated into a number of dishes, or served on the cob as a snack or side dish. Chef Justin’s saucy twist on sweet corn combines barbecue sauce and butter to create a delicious treat that is sure to please. With sweet corn in stores now, it’s a perfect time to give it a try!
1. Preheat oven broiler on high. In small saucepan over low heat, combine barbecue sauce and butter until melted and smooth.
2. Place sweet corn in a medium-sized baking dish and pour barbecue mixture over sweet corn. Broil sweet corn, 4 inches from broiler, being sure to watch the whole time.
3. Turn and baste the sweet corn until golden. Serve warm.
