Two weeks ago I had the pleasure of participating in the Orlando Children’s Expo with one of my co-workers. Children’s Expos are FREE events dedicated to parents with babies and school-age kids. They feature exhibits focused on local and national companies that provide nutrition, safety, and fun-filled information for families.
This was the first year Fresh From Florida Kids participated in the festivities. We hosted two “Kids Kitchen” sessions where the kids, along with their parents, participated in making strawberry pops. The parents loved the idea and the kids enjoyed their to-go snacks.
Children’s Expos are held in four locations in Florida:
- Orlando – September 29
- Miami – December 1
- Tampa – March 2013
- Jacksonville – May 2013
The expos typically last from 10am until 4pm. For more information about the expos you can visit the website at childrensexpos.com.
We hope to see you at one of the upcoming Children’s Expos. Let us know if you learned of the event by reading the Fresh From Florida Blog!
